Easy Christmas Toffee

2 sticks butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. saltines
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Cover cookie sheet with foil. Line with saltines. Mix 2 sticks butter with sugar. Boil for 3 minutes. Pour over saltines. Bake for 15 minutes in 350 degree oven. Immediately spread a 12 ounce package of chocolate chips over cracker mixture. Cool - refrigerate if necessary. Break into small pieces.
